CoinGeek has been holding blockchain conferences that have proven to be quite a success for the past few years. Despite the COVID19 outbreak, CoinGeek decided to go ahead with this year’s conference, which will be the sixth such conference they have organized.

Technology Made this Conference Possible

In the face of COVID19, a few changes had to be made to this year’s conference. The organizers plan to hold a hybrid conference that will incorporate live stream technology. However, certain aspects of the conference will still feature live attendees.

In the previous conference by CoinGeek, which took place in London in February 2020, there were 1000 attendees. An additional 30,000 viewers were able to attend the conference thanks to live-streaming abilities.

For public health reasons, the October conference will have fewer in-person attendees. The CoinGeek NYC conference is going to be broadcast live from London and New York studios. It will make it possible for virtual and live attendees from all corners of the world to take part in the global event.

Attendees from All Areas of the Crypto World

Some of the attendees expected at the conference include professionals from major global enterprises, leading blockchain startups, investors, crypto mining groups, and others in the financial world. All of them will have a unique opportunity to learn about developments around Bitcoin SV. Additionally, they will learn about the benefits to blockchain technology from app developers, miners, and industry specific businesses.

The event is going to take place three days in October. It will feature insightful technical topics about how the massively-scaled BSV blockchain has helped to unlock various technical capabilities. Besides that, attendees will learn why the BSV technical capabilities and businesses applications are second to none compared to other platforms. During the conference, attendees will witness presentations from the three finalists of the Bitcoin Association’s third Hackathon. During the Hackathon, winners will be granted a $100,000 investment.

Other Speakers

During the conference, attendees will also get to witness an intimate conversation with the Chief Scientist of nChain Dr. Craig S. Wright. During the conversation, Wright, who is currently facing a court battle due to his claims of being the creator of Bitcoin, will talk about the history of Bitcoin. Other notable speakers are Jimmy Nguyen, the president of the Bitcoin Association, Steve Shadders, the Chief Technology Officer at nChain, and many others.

Each day the event will have a keynote speaker. The keynote speaker will have open architecture in terms of discussion, and are able to talk about topics outside of Bitcoin SV. During the London conference in February, Jimmy Wales proved to be a controversial talker. During the October 2020 event, the same format will be used, as CoinGeek is not afraid of robust debates that help spur conversations in the crypto community.

CoinGeek is committed to the dissemination of important information in the crypto community. The crypto and blockchain industry is still young and such conferences help attendees enhance their knowledge in the industry. Thanks to technology, the conference will go ahead and everyone is encouraged to attend.
