Due to the rise of Korean Wave content (K-Contents/Culture) such as Kpop Demon Hunters, BTS, and BlackPink, the demand for learning the Korean language is rapidly increasing. Learners study Korean through language institutes, tutors, or language learning apps. Among these, language learning applications are particularly popular among learners who face time and location constraints.

While many apps offering Korean language education content exist on app stores, Lingory stands out by developing its own AI model specifically for correcting the pronunciation of foreigners learning Korean.

Many companies use speech recognition technology (STT) for speaking practice; however, while STT works well for recognizing native speakers’ voices, it has limitations in accurately recognizing the speech of beginner learners who have unclear or imperfect pronunciation.

Based on years of collected data on learners’ Korean pronunciation, Lingory operates an AI Korean pronunciation correction service that accurately recognizes learners’ incorrect Korean pronunciation and provides feedback on the causes of pronunciation errors and ways to correct them.

Furthermore, starting from early 2026, Lingory plans to introduce a curation system that analyzes learners’ interests and learning achievement data to recommend the most suitable educational content tailored to each individual learner, making language learning as enjoyable and efficient as possible.

Currently, Lingory supports translations for Korean language learners in English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Russian, and Thai, and offers content up to TOPIK level 3. Through AI Speaking content, they plan to expand the content to cover up to level 6.

If you plan to enter a Korean university, seek employment at a Korean-affiliated company, or study Korean for traveling to Korea, and want to prepare by listening to and practicing dialogues in various real-life situations you may encounter, why not consider choosing Lingory?
