The developer plans to accept Kaspa as payment for two new-construction residences projected for completion in March 2027.
MIAMI,USA— Bayit Development plans to accept Kaspa (KAS) as payment for two luxury townhomes currently under construction in Miami, introducing a cryptocurrency payment option for buyers of its newest ground-up residential project.
Kaspa is a decentralized proof-of-work cryptocurrency network whose native currency, KAS, can be transferred directly between users. Its distinguishing feature is a structure known as a blockDAG, which allows multiple blocks of transactions to be processed in parallel. The architecture is designed to support faster transaction confirmations and greater capacity while maintaining decentralized operation.
“Kaspa stood out to us for the speed of its network and the technology behind it,” said John Murch, co-founder and managing partner of Bayit Development. “We believe digital assets will play a larger role in real estate transactions, and we want Bayit to be early in offering buyers that option.”
Aaron Vays, Bayit’s co-founder and managing partner, said the decision reflects an interest in translating advances in payment technology into practical applications.
“Scalable infrastructure becomes meaningful when people can actually use it,” Vays said. “By accepting Kaspa, we want to give buyers another way to acquire real estate, whether for personal use or as an investment.”
The ground-up development is currently under construction and will comprise two residences, each offering approximately 2,600 square feet of interior living space, three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a private pool, garage and dedicated driveway. Completion is projected for March 2027.
The residences are located on SW 12th Avenue in Shenandoah, with convenient access to Brickell and Coconut Grove.
Bayit Development will release additional details closer to completion regarding the structure of Kaspa transactions, including how payments will be processed, applicable pricing, and the terms for buyers who choose to purchase using KAS.
