According to a recent press release, Atari® announced that they have launched digital collectibles ( NFTs ) on the WAX Blockchain. NFTs are non-fungible tokens that represent something unique. NFTs have become popular this year, especially in the gaming, artwork, and collectible sectors. Atari became one of the biggest visionaries in video games, as players across the globe fell in love with games such as Asteroids®, Centipede®, Missile Command®, Pong®, and RollerCoaster Tycoon®. By leveraging the WAX Blockchain, people can now own history in the form of NFTs. Starting tomorrow, video game lovers will have a chance to buy, trade, and gift Atari® digital collectibles.
